How Fotona 4D Lifting Works

The 4D Face Lift treatment strengthens an individual’s collagen and instantly lifts collagen contraction. Fotona 4D Face Lift is a 4-step laser technology that uses two different wavelengths (Er:YAG and Nd:YAG) and a combination of four lasers (SMOOTH®, FRAC3®, PIANO® and SupErficial™) to produce effective results from both inside and outside.

The SMOOTH mode is conducted on the inside of the oral cavity. This laser gives off a well-controlled and gentle heat to build more collagen and stimulate its fibres. The primary purpose is to get a plumping effect, which works like a filler.

Used to complement the effect of the first step, the FRAC3 mode uses a self-induced fractional-effect beam to target deeper layers and restore a much youthful appearance.

The PIANO mode is a safe tissue heating method that delivers energy to tighten the skin. Lastly, the SupErficial mode enhances the appearance of the skin while reducing obvious imperfections such as fine lines, loss of volume and uneven skin tone.

Using Dynamis Pro which consists of all significant functions, it produces powerful combinations of lasers which enable full-thickness contraction of collagen for effective skin firming and revitalization without the need for injectables. SMOOTH® - for skin tightening

This is a non–ablative VSP Er:YAG is a unique modality for non–invasive thermal–only treatments. This is ideal for effective results in the improvement of laxity and elasticity in the treated skin tissue.

Smooth uses Smooth technology (long-pulse Er:YAG) which is ideal for skin tightening. The intense heating stimulates collagen remodeling and improvement of wrinkles, laxity and elasticity in the treated areas around the eyes. The mode pulses for controlled and gentle “bulk-heating” help to stimulate collagen contraction while improving tightness and elasticity in the treated tissue.

FRAC3® - to stimulate collagen growth

Using Nd:YAG laser under FRAC3 Mode, it gently removes imperfections on the surface of the skin, especially the neck. It can effectively reduce imperfections such as atrophic scars, hypertrophic scars, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation on the skin over the course of several treatments.

PIANO® - for an even skin tone

This mode uses R34-T with MatrixViewTM15–20 mm spot size, Nd:YAG handpiece modality which is indicated for treatments where overall homogeneous, bulk heating of the dermis is desired.

SupErficial™ - to reduce fine lines and pores

This treatment removes dead skin cells to promote a healthy glow as well as reduce imperfections by using Fotona’s technology. This allows the doctor to adjust the laser to an extremely controlled light peel but without thermal effects.
