Dr Shirley has amassed over 10 years of experience in Aesthetic Medicine and is a trusted practitioner by her patients. Her clinical interests and expertise include injectables (BTX and dermal fillers), threadlifts, treatments for skin pigmentation, anti-ageing, weight loss and body sculpting.

She has built a reputation as a trusted aesthetics physician during her tenure as Deputy Director at Privè Clinic and Laser Clinics Asia.

Prior to that, whilst practising at Raffles Medical, she built a reputation as a top wellness doctor among patients from both the private and corporate world. They often sought her opinion regarding medical issues and wellness — well-known for her approachability, friendliness and her ability to formulate a diagnosis and personalised management. She was part of a select few chosen to be trained under Prof. Walter Tan and Dr Wilson Wong under the Raffles Aesthetics programme.

She understands that everyone needs to feel good about themselves, and her holistic approach is of a highly reputable standard. Her goal in aesthetics is to help patients understand their individual beauty and to enhance them with the help of evidence-based and effective treatments. She believes in the importance of personalised treatment plans and finding the right combination of treatments for her patients.

Education and Training

Dr Shirley attained her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Glasgow, one of the top universities in the United Kingdom. She trained in multiple specialties during her years in the UK, namely General Surgery and Cardiology in Manchester and North-West Deanery (UK). She is a registered Family Physician and holds a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine from the National University of Singapore.

Dr Shirley is fully accredited to perform multiple aesthetic treatments, with over 10 years of experience in the field of Aesthetic Medicine. Her keen eye and dexterity have made her a go-to doctor for many patients looking to enhance their looks and improve their skin. Her approachability and kind reassurance during treatments have also made her patients feel at ease with her.

She is also a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and Anti-Ageing Medicine, Society of Aesthetic Medicine and the Singapore Medical Association.

Activities and interests

Dr Shirley enjoys practising yoga and running in nature when she is not practising medicine. As an avid traveller, she cherishes the beauty of many different places and would often go trekking and scuba-diving during her trips. In her free time, she also enjoys volunteering with numerous charity foundations alongside her close friends.
