Pimple Scar Removal

What is Acne?

Acne is a common inflammatory skin condition that develops when oil glands in the skin become overactive, leading to clogged pores and bacterial buildup. This can result in inflammation and the appearance of pimples—red, swollen lesions that are often filled with pus.

Pimples can form anywhere on the body, but they most frequently occur on the face, back, chest, and shoulders. Although acne is often associated with teenagers due to hormonal changes during puberty, adults can also experience outbreaks.

Common Triggers for Acne:

  • Hormonal changes: Especially during puberty, menstruation, or hormonal conditions like PCOS.
  • Dehydration: Can trigger excess oil production as the skin tries to retain moisture.
  • Makeup and skincare products: If comedogenic, they may clog pores and worsen acne.
  • Friction or pressure: From masks, helmets, phones, or backpack straps.
  • Climate: Humid and hot weather can increase sweat and oil, leading to breakouts.
  • Stress: Does not directly cause acne but may aggravate it by disrupting hormonal balance.

How is Acne and Acne Scarring Treated?

1. Fractional Radiofrequency Skin Resurfacing

This treatment uses controlled radiofrequency energy delivered into the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production. It promotes skin renewal, reduces acne scarring, and improves skin texture without the need for surgery or injections.

Benefits:

  • Smoother skin texture
  • Reduction in pore size and shallow acne scars
  • Minimal downtime

2. PDRN Skin Rejuvenation with Polynucleotide (PN) Therapy

Polynucleotide-based skin therapy involves microinjections of DNA fragments derived from salmon or similar sources. These compounds support skin regeneration by improving elasticity, hydration, and collagen production. When used in acne-prone skin, this approach may also help regulate oil production and reduce future outbreaks.

Benefits:

  • Improves skin texture and hydration
  • Supports tissue repair and healing
  • Reduces inflammation and supports long-term acne prevention

3. Nitrogen Plasma Skin Regeneration

This non-invasive technology uses nitrogen plasma energy to deliver heat beneath the skin’s surface, targeting acne, scarring, and overall skin rejuvenation. Unlike lasers, plasma does not rely on light wavelengths, making it suitable for all skin types and tones.

Benefits:

  • Addresses both active acne and acne scars
  • Stimulates new collagen formation
  • Minimal to no discomfort or downtime

4. Picosecond Laser with Fractional Lens TechnologyPICO Laser Extension

Picosecond lasers emit ultra-short bursts of energy to break down pigment and remodel scar tissue. When combined with a fractional delivery mode, they create micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate natural healing and collagen renewal without damaging surrounding tissues.

Benefits:

  • Targets both deep and shallow acne scars
  • Quick treatments with minimal discomfort
  • Noticeable results after a few sessions

Consultation and Personalised Assessment

Each person’s acne severity, skin type, and treatment goals are different. A personalised consultation with a qualified medical professional is essential to determine the best combination of treatments for optimal results.
