Perfect Your Look by stimulating Collagen Production - Dr Lee Mun Heng, Official Sculptra Trainer Singapore

back

Desire younger-looking skin that’s also more radiant and lifted? Cambridge Medical Group has the solutions for you.

Loose, saggy skin is a given as we age, as are wrinkles and less-defined facial contours – the results of the body’s depleting collagen levels, which occur naturally over time. Ideally, you want to give your face a subtle lift without going under the knife, and this is where minimally invasive treatments such as Sculptra come in.

Collagen and rejuvenation

While many doctors with an interest in aesthetic medicine use a single treatment to target droopy skin, Dr Lee Mun Heng, founder of Cambridge Medical Group, prefers a more holistic approach, opting for a combination of treatments to deliver even better results.

One treatment favoured by Dr Lee is the FDA-approved Sculptra, which is said to stimulate collagen production to gradually plump skin. Comprising a series of injections over a few months, Sculptra supposedly gives a softer, more natural-looking effect than fillers; results can last up to two years.

A study showed that six months after the last injection for nasolabial fold contour deficiencies, 79% of the subjects who received fewer than four treatments rated the results of the treatment as “excellent” based on a visual, subjective, 4-point scale. [1]

Good to know: Pharmaceutical giant Galderma, which owns Sculptra, has appointed Dr Lee as the 2015 & 2016 Sculptra trainer for South-east Asia and key opinion leader for the treatment, so you’ll be in good hands.

SCULPTRA: A NEW APPROACH FACE LIFTS

Dr Lee often combines Sculptra with the clinic’s signature Korean-style Ultra V Lift – a minimally invasive procedure whereby extremely fine Ultra V Threads are inserted into the face to reportedly tighten saggy skin and stimulate collagen production. The promised result? Firmer, smoother and more elastic skin, plus a sculpted, V-shaped face.

Unlike traditional facelifts, Ultra V Lift hardly causes any bruising, bleeding or swelling, and the pain is minimal (anaesthetic cream will be applied to the targeted areas to numb them before the treatment begins). There is also no downtime, so you can go about your daily tasks immediately after the procedure.

In good hands with a Sculptra Expert

Dr Lee, a graduate of the prestigious University of Cambridge, has trained extensively in the US, Japan, Italy and Korea. During his 10 years in practice, he has performed countless aesthetic procedures successfully. Known in the industry for his precision and quality of work, his skills are akin to that of a master tailor or designer.

Dr Lee is familiar with customised requests and is experienced in creating sculpted looks that best suit his clients’ needs. Combined with his open and friendly demeanour, patients feel at ease and that’s when the best collaboration between doctor and patient begins.
